In the heart of the Utah desert lies a landscape that feels like a dream shaped by imagination. Goblin Valley is a place where wind and water have sculpted fantastical rock formations over millions of years. Known as goblins, these sandstone figures form a labyrinth of natural sculptures scattered across the desert plateau.

The image was captured from above during the golden hour. The warm light of sunset brings out rusty reds, ochres and soft pink tones, while long shadows emphasize the surreal character of the valley. In this light, the goblins appear almost alive – their shapes casting dynamic, flowing lines across the desert floor.
